THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

My primary, foundational approach to therapy comes from Existential-HumanismThis type of counseling acknowledges the human experience as a unique and individual journey, encouraging clients to find their own answers to life's questions and embrace their authentic selves. It's a collaborative and empowering process that helps individuals live more authentically and in alignment with their true values and aspirations.

Here are some benefits to this approach:

  1. Self-Exploration: It offers a safe space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and values, helping you gain a deeper understanding of yourself.

  2. Flexibility: It is highly personalized and adaptable, addressing your unique needs and concerns.

  3. Positivity & Empathy: It views you through an unconditionally positive lens and focuses on your overall well-being, not just symptom reduction, which can lead to a more fulfilling life.

  4. Meaning & Purpose: It can help you grapple with questions about the meaning of life and your purpose, offering guidance in finding your own answers.

  5. Personal Growth: It encourages personal development and self-actualization, allowing you to become the best version of yourself, in alignment with your truest values and beliefs.

  6. Responsibility: It empowers you to take control of your life by acknowledging your freedom and responsibility for personal choices.

  7. Emotional Intelligence: It respects your emotions and supports you in understanding and regulating them better.
